The House
A couture house devoted to individuality, craftsmanship, and storytelling through fashion.
Founded by Siah Howard, the London-based couture house is dedicated to the creation of deeply personal garments that celebrate the unique story of each client. Rooted in the traditions of couture craftsmanship and informed by a global perspective, Siah approaches each commission as a collaboration between designer and wearer, resulting in pieces that are both meaningful and enduring.
At the heart of the house is the belief that fashion is more than clothing. It is a powerful form of self-expression—an opportunity to communicate identity, celebrate life’s most meaningful moments, and create lasting emotional connections through design.
Guided by artistry, craftsmanship, and attention to detail, the house creates garments that are individually considered and meticulously crafted. Whether through haute couture, bespoke bridal, custom tailoring, or limited ready-to-wear collections, each piece is designed to reflect the individuality of the person who wears it.
The Founder
For Siah Howard, fashion has always been more than a profession—it has been a lifelong calling.
From an early age, she was drawn to the art of making, hand-sewing garments for her dolls long before she understood that fashion would become her life’s work.
Shaped by experiences across Africa, Europe, Asia, and the United States, Siah brings a uniquely global perspective to her work, drawing inspiration from diverse cultures, craftsmanship traditions, and personal stories. This international perspective continues to influence her design philosophy, informing an approach rooted in individuality, thoughtful craftsmanship, and meaningful storytelling.
Siah earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion Design and Marketing in Los Angeles, where she developed a strong foundation in both design and business before pursuing a Master’s degree in Advanced Fashion Design at Polimoda in Florence, Italy. Immersed in one of the world’s most celebrated centers of fashion, artistry, and craftsmanship, she further refined her technical expertise and deepened her commitment to couture artistry.
Following her studies in Florence, she established Siah Howard Haute Couture in London, where the house continues to create bespoke garments for clients seeking exceptional craftsmanship and deeply personal design.
Today, she also serves as an International Fashion Design Lecturer at Soochow University in Suzhou, China, mentoring and educating the next generation of fashion professionals.
Her work is guided by faith, craftsmanship, and a belief that creativity is a gift. Through every garment and every client experience, she seeks to create something beautiful, intentional, and deeply personal.
